Learn how to live the life you love!

With all that is going on in this world, I feel like anxiety is at an all time high. Here are a few things that I do to help ease my nerves and the fear in the pit of my stomach.

1. Deep breathing – inhale through your nose and fill your belly with air for a count of 4, hold for another count of 4, then exhale through pursed lips slowly for a count of 7

2. Get out side and connect with nature – take a walk, sit by a lake, whatever you can do

3. Do some form of physical activity – movement metabolizes the stress hormones including cortisol in your body, do something that gets your heart pumping

4. Listen to binaural beats meditative music – I usually listen to 360 hertz music, it’s very calming and some suggest it increases serotonin production with is important to decrease anxiety

5. Eat dark chocolate – love this one…dark chocolate contains flavonols which are antioxidants and help brain function

6. CBD oil – check with your local laws for legality. It may help bring a calming effect to your body.

7. Read books for self improvement or listen to podcasts for positive affirmations – building your mindset and belief in yourself will help control negative and dark thoughts

8. Pray, read Scripture, know that God is with you in all circumstances. Trust that He will bring you through, this too shall pass.

9. Get plenty of sleep or rest

10. Fuel your brain with healthy foods and necessary vitamins, minerals, and nutrients. I have my Arbonne vegan protein powder shake mixed with Greens Balance (basically powdered fruits and veggies) and Digestive enzymes all for good gut health. I also drink several Energy Fizz sticks with green tea and guarana full of B vitamins, mixed with the Inner Calm with ashwagandha, and Mind Health stick. These are just a few ways that I manage anxiety daily. Some days are better than others….

Love to you all,
Angie
