Do You Love all the Holiday Food this Time of the Year?

I sure do.  It's one of the best parts of the Holiday Season is pulling out all the special recipes for Christmas cookies and candies.  And I have a lot of favorites.  While sometimes we may feel guilty for divulging in all the sugary treats this time of year, I encourage you to not be hard on yourself for taking that extra sugar cookie  in the break room.

The holidays are meant to be fun with family and friends, and not make you feel guilty for not eating as healthy or completing your exercise routine as during the rest of the year.  Give yourself some grace and forgiveness for wanting to have that special Christmas Candy that grandma always made.  For me it was her Special K candy loaded with corn syrup, peanut butter chocolate and Special K candy.  I could eat a half a pan of those.

So instead of feeling guilty for having a few more festive treats, tell yourself these three things:

I am going to enjoy the Holiday season
I am thankful for my blessings
I am happy and grateful for this time of the year

One way I do help my body adjust to all the extra sugar intake this time of the year is to make this detox tea to help my body process and eliminate the extra sugars, and other chemicals that are ingested from all the lovely treats of the holiday season.  Gives me peace of mind knowing that I am helping my body continue to function in a healthy manner.  Try it HERE and add a hint of lemon juice for a bit of zest.

Wishing you all the Joyous of Holidays this year and I am thankful to be able to connect with everyone of you!
