Protein Helps your Body Sustain Energy
Although the body uses carbohydrates and fats as its first fuel source, protein is vital for helping the body to sustain energy levels.
It is the building block of muscle that helps to regulate your metabolism and all the body system functions. Protein also is essential for storing iron in the body which transports oxygen to the cells and thus helps keep energy levels up.
Protein is mainly found in all sources of animal meats including beef, pork, chicken, fish and seafoods.
