With the way this last year has been, I promised I would never again complain about how busy life was or how many activities that were squished into a week. Even though the last few weeks were full with my daughter cheering at the Nebraska Girls State Basketball tournament for a week, and being the the Fremont High School Musical The Addams Family for a week, it was time for Spring Break and a road trip to Michigan to see family!!!
Twelve hours by car from home to my brother’s house in Ypsilanti. I love driving and riding in vehicles for road trips. So many things to see along the way through 5 different states.
A change of pace, an escape from the usual daily routines, slower, refreshing pace from daily life.
It’s a sign of things returning to a more normal way of life before the pandemic.
